John Ritchie is my 3rd great-uncle, he was born on January 16, 1875 in Rockingham County, Virginia. His father was the murdered Phillip Ritchie, I have been transcribing news articles of his murder on this blog lately. I also recently transcribed an article about John's arrest after threatening to kill his father's murderer, Charles Roadcap.
John's children are my 1st cousins 3x removed.
