Commissioner Bertram Fixes Amount at Fifteen Hundred Dollars.

Charles Roadcap, the confessed slayer of Phillip Ritchie, now in jail on the charge of murder, was before Bail Commissioner H. W. Bertram yesterday on a motion for bail, which was granted in the sum of $1.500.

Roadcap was not prepared yesterday to give bail in the amount fixed, but his counsel, Messrs. E. B. Crawford and D. O. Dechert, hope to accomplish his release today.
